Since 2001, COMET has been a full member of the international
organization
OSA (Organization for the Safety of Abrasives), which unites 42
leading manufacturers of abrasive products.
The main obligation of its members is to ensure the safety
of their products in compliance with the organization's guidelines,
which are based on the EN 12413 and EN 13743 and EN 13236 standards, and
to perform testing of their products in accordance with these
standards.
Via the Nonmetals Committee of the Chamber of Commerce and Economy of the
Republic of Slovenia, COMET is included in the
FEPA (Federation
of European Producers of Abrasives), which unites over 30 predominantly European
manufacturers and users of abrasive materials.
The basic mission of the FEPA organization is to assist its
members in the development, manufacture and implementation
of all types of abrasive products.
